Role Description The Financial Analyst role at Vira Growth Fund is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi. The individual in this role will analyze financial data, prepare and interpret financial statements, and support financial planning and forecasting activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, conducting variance and trend analysis, and preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with investment and operations teams to support decision-making, evaluate performance metrics, and contribute to budgeting and strategic initiatives. This role also involves monitoring market and industry developments, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining documentation in line with internal policies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge, including a solid understanding of core financial concepts and investment principles.
Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to support budgeting, forecasts, and performance reviews.
Candidates should possess the ability to work with Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is an advantage.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software and financial analysis tools; experience with presentation tools and data visualization is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
