Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will work in a remote, contract capacity, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end interfaces, building and integrating back-end services and APIs, and ensuring responsive, accessible user experiences. The engineer will collaborate with designers, project managers, and content teams to translate requirements into reliable, secure, and maintainable code. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and participating in code reviews and documentation to support ongoing improvements and long-term platform stability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development to design, build, and maintain end-to-end web solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create responsive, accessible, and user-centered interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development to implement APIs, manage data flows, and ensure security and performance.
Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, Node.js, or similar) is beneficial.
Familiarity with cloud-based deployment, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices is preferred.
Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams are essential.
Prior experience supporting government, education, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
