The team focuses on delivering memorable experiences through attentive service and well-coordinated events, partnering closely with clients and vendors.
Role Description The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting the hiring needs of The Old Cigar Warehouse across a variety of event and operations positions. Day-to-day tasks include managing job postings, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers. The role also involves conducting initial candidate assessments, maintaining accurate candidate records, and communicating clearly and professionally throughout the recruitment process. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will help strengthen employer branding, collaborate on recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience aligned with the venue’s service-focused culture.
Qualifications
Strong full-life cycle recruiting and recruiting skills, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating hiring activities.
Experience with interviewing and hiring processes, with the ability to assess candidate fit and support selection decisions.
Knowledge of employer branding practices to help promote the organization and attract qualified talent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional, inclusive candidate outreach and follow-up.
Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity and manage multiple roles and deadlines.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruitment tools and basic proficiency with common office software.
Experience recruiting for hospitality, events, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
Education or training in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
