About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
We’re looking for an experienced LinkedIn Engagement and Community Specialist to take ownership of our LinkedIn presence and help us grow an engaged, relevant, and active professional community.
This role is focused on content optimisation, community engagement, brand visibility, and performance improvement. You’ll work closely with our content and copywriting teams to transform existing ideas and content into compelling LinkedIn posts, while using platform-specific features such as tagging, hashtags, mentions, comments, and emerging content formats to maximise reach and engagement.
This is not a traditional lead generation or outbound sales role. We’re looking for someone who understands how to build genuine engagement and meaningful conversations on LinkedIn.
This is a full-time role working UK business hours.
What You'll Be Doing:
Own and optimise our LinkedIn presence: Manage day-to-day LinkedIn activity and continuously improve our profiles and content for greater visibility, reach, and engagement.
Turn content into LinkedIn-ready posts: Collaborate with our content and copywriting teams to adapt content specifically for LinkedIn, including formatting, hooks, hashtags, tags, mentions, and platform-specific features.
Build and engage our community: Proactively engage with relevant individuals, businesses, industry conversations, and existing followers to strengthen relationships and grow brand awareness.
Start meaningful conversations: Identify opportunities to comment, tag, respond, and participate in discussions that position our brand naturally within relevant LinkedIn communities.
Monitor LinkedIn trends: Stay up to date with platform changes, emerging content formats, algorithm developments, and industry trends, recommending new approaches where appropriate.
Analyse performance: Track LinkedIn metrics and engagement data, identify what is and isn’t working, and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
Collaborate across teams: Ensure LinkedIn activity supports wider content, marketing, brand, and business objectives.
Manage community communication: Respond to comments, messages, enquiries, and feedback promptly and professionally.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of professional experience managing LinkedIn accounts for businesses, brands, or clients.
A strong understanding of LinkedIn features, best practices, content formats, engagement strategies, and platform trends.
Demonstrable experience optimising content specifically for LinkedIn.
Strong knowledge of using tags, hashtags, mentions, comments, and other LinkedIn features strategically.
Experience analysing LinkedIn performance data and using insights to improve content and engagement.
Excellent written communication skills, with strong attention to tone, clarity, detail, and accuracy.
A proactive mindset and an ability to spot opportunities for relevant engagement and community growth.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities consistently.
Experience collaborating with content, copywriting, marketing, or other cross-functional teams.
Experience working with enterprise level target audience across professional and financial services.
Ability to work with our Founder to deliver the engagement required for our brands.
