Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Faridabad. The Fashion Designer will develop concepts and collections, create sketches, and translate designs into patterns and samples. Responsibilities include working closely with production teams to oversee fittings, ensuring design quality and consistency, and collaborating on fabric, color, and trim selection. The role involves coordinating embroidery and textile details, preparing technical specifications, and maintaining design documentation. The Fashion Designer will also support seasonal planning, trend research, and ongoing refinement of existing styles.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
Experience with Embroidery and decorative techniques, with an eye for detail and craftsmanship.
Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric properties, drape, and suitability for different silhouettes.
Proficiency in Fitting, garment construction, and collaborating with pattern makers and tailors.
Ability to use design tools (manual sketching and basic digital design software) and maintain clear technical sheets.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site studio environment.
Strong sense of color, proportion, and current fashion trends, ideally with experience in local or contemporary Indian fashion.
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred; relevant studio or industry experience is an advantage.
