Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Assistant Manager will support day-to-day store operations, including supervising staff, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities include assisting in inventory management, overseeing visual merchandising standards, and implementing promotional activities to drive sales. The role involves maintaining store discipline and compliance with company policies, handling escalated customer queries, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth operations. The Assistant Manager will also contribute to training and guiding team members, helping to build a motivated and high-performing store team.
Qualifications
Experience in retail or customer-facing roles, with the ability to manage store operations and support sales targets.
Strong customer service orientation, including handling queries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive in-store experience.
Basic knowledge of inventory control, merchandising practices, and store display standards.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to supervise team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for reporting and documentation.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, with flexibility for retail working hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
Graduate degree or equivalent education preferred; prior experience in electronics or consumer durables retail is an advantage.
