Role Description The Executive Vice President role is a full-time, remote position responsible for providing strategic leadership across Valar Atomics’ operations and growth initiatives. This role oversees key business functions, shapes long-term strategy, and aligns organizational priorities with the company’s mission to create abundant, affordable gas via atomic energy. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading senior leaders and cross-functional teams, setting and tracking performance objectives, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring efficient execution of programs and projects. The Executive Vice President collaborates closely with the executive team on corporate development, partnerships, and stakeholder communications, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusive decision-making. The role also involves representing the organization to external partners, investors, and industry bodies, and identifying opportunities to expand impact and market presence.
Qualifications
Proven executive leadership experience, including oversight of multi-functional teams and complex initiatives in technology, energy, or related industries.
Strong background in strategic planning, operational excellence, and organizational scaling in high-growth or innovative environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to boards, investors, and partners.
Ability to thrive in a remote, mission-driven setting, with high levels of ownership, integrity, and collaborative problem-solving.
Experience in nuclear, energy, or advanced industrial technologies is strongly preferred; familiarity with regulatory and safety frameworks is a plus.
Advanced degree in business, engineering, public policy, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent leadership experience will also be considered.
