Role Description The Procurement Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading procurement activities across Larlyn’s portfolio of properties and corporate operations. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing competitive bids, negotiating contracts and pricing, and overseeing the lifecycle of vendor agreements to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs, developing procurement strategies, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The Procurement Manager will also support process improvements, risk management, and adherence to company policies and industry standards, while ensuring timely delivery of goods and services that support property management operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, including experience in sourcing vendors and assessing value.
Candidates should possess contract negotiation and contract management skills to secure favorable terms and manage agreements throughout their lifecycle.
Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret data, compare proposals, manage budgets, and support decision-making.
Relevant experience in property management, real estate, or facilities management is beneficial.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills are required.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment are essential.
Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems and standard office software is preferred.
A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, supply chain management, or a related field, and relevant professional designations (e.g., SCMP, CPSM) are considered assets.
