Job Placement Specialist

Seeking Experienced Ticket to Work (TTW) Professionals
Deaf Employment & Advocacy Firm is growing and looking to connect with experienced Ticket to Work professionals who are passionate about helping individuals with disabilities achieve meaningful employment and greater independence.
As our organization continues to expand, we are seeking dedicated professionals who want to be part of a growing team committed to employment success, advocacy, and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities
Assess Candidates: Evaluate job seekers' skills, experience, and career goals to identify proper job matches.
Build Partnerships: Network with local businesses and hiring managers to source job openings and secure job leads.
Coach Job Seekers: Train clients on resume writing, application completion, and interview techniques.
Track Data: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, job orders, and placement progress and produce timely and thorough reports and other required documentation
Provide Follow-Up: Support clients post-placement to ensure job retention and workplace success.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Education: A degree in human resources, business administration, social work, vocational rehabilitation, education or a related field. A solid work history may be accepted in place of a degree.
Credentials: Suitability with the Ticket to Work program; disability specific training or credentials
Experience: Background in staffing, career coaching, job placement, workforce development, or special education/transition services.
Communication: Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and active listening skills. Ability to write and correspond in a professional manner.
Knowledge: Familiarity with local labor market trends, basic employment laws, and experience working with individuals with disabilities.
