We operate as a lean, data-driven, and remote-first organization built for international scale. Joining SonifyMusic as a Co-Founder means taking a direct leadership role alongside the Founder/CEO, securing an equity stake, and actively driving our commercial and capital strategy from day one.
Role Description
We are seeking a proactive Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer (CBO) with a strong commercial background, a growth mindset, and experience or connections in business development, fundraising, and investor relations.
Working directly with the Founder/CEO, you will take full ownership of business expansion, monetization, and investor outreach:
• Commercial Execution & Go-To-Market: Drive B2B sales pipelines, negotiate key commercial partnerships, and close high-value deals across international target markets (e.g., DACH, Nordics, US).
• Fundraising & Investor Relations: Structure fundraising campaigns, prepare investor materials (pitch decks, financial modeling support, data room), and build active relationships with Venture Capital (VC) firms, Family Offices, Angel Investors, and public grant programs.
• Strategic Growth & Scaling: Define revenue models, optimize pricing strategies, and drive sustainable Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) milestones.
• Governance & Leadership: Collaborate on top-tier financial planning, budget allocation, and strategic decision-making to align product development with market demand.
Qualifications & Requirements
• B2B Sales & Business Development: Track record in enterprise or SaaS sales, commercial deal structuring, and driving revenue growth.
• Fundraising & Investor Awareness: Understanding of startup investment mechanics (VC, Angel, Family Office funding) or an established network within tech/MusicTech investors.
• Marketing & Growth Strategy: Solid grasp of brand positioning, inbound/outbound B2B lead generation, and performance-driven growth channels.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate market data, along with fluent written and verbal English skills to pitch effectively to global stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Hands-on attitude, resilience, high accountability, and a genuine passion for music, technology, and high-growth ventures.
