Our client is a recognized General Contractor within the food & beverage industry supporting companies such as Nestle, Purina, Chobani, Leprino, Hormel, General Mills, Tyson, Lamb Wesson, Nestle, Land O' Lakes to name a few. They've built processing plants, canning facilities, bakeries & mills, dairy operations, as well as pet food & snack manufacturing facilities.
They are searching for a true Superstar Superintendent with a history of & project list full of food & beverage or industrial manufacturing projects to join their jobsite leadership team to handle current business activity, pending / future project log, and growth across the United States.
As our newest Project Superintendent you'll lead self perform teams (concrete, structural steel, millwright, process equipment installation, etc) as well as subcontractor field personnel. You will drive / monitor / report daily onsite activity, safety, and success. You hold primary responsibility for project safety, scheduling, and site management from pre-construction to closeout. All General Foreman, Foreman, and the Safety Supervisor report directly to you, the Project Superintendent (who reports to the Project Manager).

What’s In It For You:
Strong Base Salary
$180k+ with extensive dairy and/or food & beverage experience
$160k - 175k+ with industrial construction experience

What You'll Do:
Manage all daily construction work activities, meet deadlines, budgets, quality standards
Hold and oversee all Vendor Field Coordination Meetings
Update and issue all Project Schedules
Manage all labor relations at the site
Manage daily implementation of all safety plans and procedures
Prepare and issue all field work daily reports
Use effective verbal and written communication skills
Project progress monitoring and modification management

To Be Successful, You Should Have:
5 to 10+ YEARS PREVIOUS CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
US Citizenship Required is required by DoD/DoI
5+ years leading self perform leadership (concrete, steel, millwork, etc.)
5+ years Food & Beverage construction experience, highly preferred
5+ years Dairy processing construction experience, highly preferred
5+ years Industrial Project Superintendent experience, highly preferred
5+ years of jobsite leadership experience with a industrial General Contractor
5+ years jobsite leadership of subcontractors, union, & self-perform teams, preferred
5+ years process equipment installation, expert rigging technique
Stability: 4+ years average job stay
Possess strong skills and comprehensive knowledge of construction practices & methods
Excellent oral and written communication skills, both on and off the job
Career history exhibiting steady progression of Authority, Responsibility, Accountability
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
Current CPR/First Aid (required) & OSHA certifications encouraged
