Role Description The Branch Manager – Admissions is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role involves overseeing the entire admissions process, including inquiry handling, campus tours, application management, and coordination of entrance assessments and interviews. The Branch Manager will develop and implement branch-level admission strategies, collaborate with academic and administrative teams, and ensure a positive experience for prospective students and families. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate admission records, monitoring enrollment targets, preparing reports for senior leadership, and ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements. The role also includes managing and mentoring the admissions team, resolving stakeholder queries, and representing the branch at outreach events and information sessions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in admissions, enrollment management, or educational administration, preferably in K–12 schools or similar institutions.
Strong skills in stakeholder communication, including the ability to engage with parents, students, and staff in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner.
Proficiency in data management and reporting, with comfort using admission software, CRM tools, and standard office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email).
Proven ability in team leadership, including staff coordination, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative, service-oriented work culture.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple admissions cycles, deadlines, and events simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to policies and regulatory guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
Familiarity with the education sector in the Greater Kolkata Area and comfort working in an on-site, school-based environment.
