Role: Purchasing Specialist supporting Recycling & Spec Control to enhance customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, profitability, and resource circularity.
Responsibilities
Support recycling, batteries, cores, forecasting, ordering, third-party management, audits, KPI tracking, and projects.
Assist with battery support, resource circularity initiatives, core inventory management, and forecast support for various battery types.
Coordinate with third-party providers, ensure accuracy in dealer systems and SOPs, and manage LET flashing and database support with Japan.
Track KPIs, analyze data, identify root causes, and support departmental projects and business plans.
Qualifications & Skills
BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
4-6 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of procurement, forecasting (preferably automotive parts), negotiating, planning, and organizing.
Strong communication, presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
