Role Description This is a full-time Construction Engineer role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area with some flexibility for work from home. The Construction Engineer will oversee on-site construction activities, coordinate with project managers, contractors, and design teams, and ensure that work follows approved construction drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include monitoring progress, conducting site inspections, verifying quality and safety standards, and documenting issues or deviations. The role also involves collaborating on project planning, reviewing technical designs, providing input on equipment and material selection, and preparing reports and updates for stakeholders. The Construction Engineer will support continuous improvement in construction processes and contribute to effective communication among all project participants.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to field conditions.
Experience working with Construction Drawings, including reading, interpreting, and coordinating designs with on-site execution.
Hands-on familiarity with Heavy Equipment used in construction projects and understanding of safe and efficient operation practices.
Experience conducting site Inspection activities, including quality checks, safety observations, and compliance assessments.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; relevant professional certifications or licenses are an advantage.
Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and construction regulations applicable to projects in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad region.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency with basic engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), as well as standard office productivity applications.
