Role Description The Senior Vice President of Corporate Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions. This role oversees the end-to-end deal lifecycle, from opportunity identification and market assessment to negotiation, due diligence, and integration planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with potential partners and targets, developing business cases and financial models, and collaborating with executive leadership on long-term strategy. The SVP will coordinate cross-functional teams in finance, legal, operations, and product to evaluate transactions, manage risk, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. This role also monitors industry trends, competitive activity, and capital markets to inform the company’s growth strategy and pipeline.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Corporate Development, including strategy formation, deal sourcing, and execution.
Experience leading Acquisitions and related transaction processes such as negotiations, structuring, and post-close integration.
Strong Financial Modeling and Finance skills, with the ability to build robust forecasts, valuation analyses, and scenario planning.
Proven capability in conducting comprehensive Due Diligence, including commercial, financial, and operational assessments.
Extensive experience in healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences, preferably in a high-growth or start-up environment.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive complex projects to completion.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with a strategic and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (e.g., MBA) strongly preferred.
