Role Description The Vice President Information Technology is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading Kaldbakur’s overall technology vision, strategy, and execution across its diversified portfolio. This position oversees IT governance, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data management, ensuring systems effectively support investment activities and portfolio operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT roadmaps, prioritizing and managing technology projects, and partnering with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business objectives. The role also involves establishing standards and policies, managing vendor relationships, optimizing systems for efficiency and security, and guiding change management related to new tools and platforms. The Vice President Information Technology will lead and mentor IT teams and partners, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in a remote work setting.
Qualifications
Strong background in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
Proven experience in IT Management, with responsibility for teams, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated ability in IT Strategy and Strategic Planning, aligning technology initiatives with organizational and investment goals.
Established track record in Project Management, delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects on time and within scope.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in geographically distributed or remote settings.
Experience working in investment, financial services, or multi-industry environments is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are an advantage.
Ability to work independently, make data-informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.
