Role Description This is a contract, remote Carpet Cleaning and Repair role, supporting clients who schedule services through Express Carpet Repairs. Day-to-day tasks include performing professional carpet cleaning, spot treatment, and minor repairs such as patching, stretching, and seam repairs according to company standards. The role involves assessing carpet condition, recommending appropriate services, and documenting work performed in job reports or digital systems. The contractor will coordinate appointments, communicate with clients about service expectations and aftercare, and follow safety and cleanliness guidelines. While the role is remote in terms of administration and scheduling, travel to customer sites is required to perform on-site work.
Qualifications
Experience with carpet cleaning methods, stain removal techniques, and basic carpet repair (e.g., stretching, patching, seam repair).
Ability to use and maintain carpet cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Strong customer service and communication skills for interacting with clients on-site and remotely.
Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple service requests and appointments.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions on-site, and follow company procedures.
Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting equipment and working on floors for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to client locations and a valid driver’s license, where applicable.
Previous experience in carpet cleaning, flooring, or related trades is preferred but not strictly required.
