VP of Business Operations

Role Description This full-time, remote VP of Business Operations role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The VP will lead cross-functional programs, optimize processes, and develop frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and financial performance. This role will partner with executive leadership to set operational priorities, manage key performance indicators, and support data-driven decision-making. The VP will also oversee budget planning, resource allocation, risk management, and operational governance, while mentoring teams and building a culture of continuous improvement. Regular responsibilities include reviewing operational metrics, leading program reviews, coordinating with finance and other departments, and implementing best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Business Operations and Operations Management, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, build dashboards or reports, and use insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.
Proven Program Management experience, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation for multi-team projects.
Solid Finance knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and understanding of key financial metrics that drive business performance.
Experience in executive-level leadership, including team management, coaching, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Background in strategy, management consulting, or high-growth organizations is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
