Responsibilities
• Transform source data into tested, documented models for analytics and reporting
• Define reusable metrics and maintain consistent business logic across dashboards
• Build incremental transformations and investigate data freshness and quality issues
• Implement version control, automated tests, and review practices for analytical code
• Collaborate with analysts and data engineers on model design, lineage, and documentation
Qualification
Required
• Practical experience building analytical datasets and reusable data transformations
• Strong SQL and a clear understanding of dimensional modeling
• Experience with a cloud warehouse and a transformation framework such as dbt
• Ability to write data tests and troubleshoot joins, duplication, and incremental loads
• Clear documentation and communication skills for working with a remote team
Preferred
• Experience with semantic layers, metric catalogs, or data lineage tools
• Familiarity with Python and CI workflows for data projects
