Role Description The Jewellery Design & Concept Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. In this position, the team member will create and refine jewelry design concepts, produce sketches and digital renderings, and align designs with brand guidelines and market trends. The role involves coordinating with production and polishing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality, as well as collaborating with customer-facing teams to translate client preferences into design solutions. The executive will support fashion jewelry collections, assist in developing design standards and training materials, and maintain an organized portfolio of designs. Regular tasks include researching design inspirations, preparing samples for presentations, and participating in internal reviews to improve product aesthetics and functionality.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Jewelry Design and Concept Development, with the ability to create detailed sketches and design specifications.
Experience with Fashion Jewelry, including understanding of trends, materials, and customer preferences.
Knowledge of polishing processes and quality standards to ensure finished pieces meet design intent and durability requirements.
Customer Service and communication skills to interact with internal teams and, when required, clients regarding design needs and feedback.
Ability to contribute to Training activities, such as sharing best practices and design guidelines with team members.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., CAD tools for jewelry design) and comfort working with physical prototypes.
Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to balance creativity with practical manufacturing considerations.
Diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Capacity to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, and manage multiple design projects with timelines.
