Role Description The Senior User Experience Designer will lead end-to-end UX design for digital products, from discovery and user research through ideation, prototyping, and delivery. In this full-time remote role, the designer will collaborate with consultants, product owners, developers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives and user needs into intuitive, accessible experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user interviews and usability tests, mapping user journeys, defining information architecture, and creating wireframes and high-fidelity designs. The role also involves facilitating design thinking workshops, developing design systems and guidelines, and iterating solutions based on qualitative and quantitative feedback. The Senior UX Designer is expected to advocate for user-centered practices, mentor junior designers, and contribute to continuous improvement of ROSSK’s digital methodologies.
Qualifications
Strong user-centered design expertise, including User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking skills.
Ability to plan and conduct User Research, such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiry.
Proficiency in Visual Design and interaction design, with a portfolio demonstrating clean, accessible, and consistent interfaces.
Hands-on experience with Prototyping tools and workflows, including low- and high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile.
Advanced proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Miro, or similar).
Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile or iterative environments, translating complex requirements into clear design solutions.
Strong communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills, including the ability to present design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design best practices, and design systems is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in UX design.
