Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for working directly with clients to design, build, and deploy software solutions that address their specific business needs. Day-to-day tasks include developing back-end services and APIs, integrating systems, and writing clean, maintainable code aligned with best practices. The role involves gathering technical requirements, collaborating with client and internal teams, and troubleshooting issues in production and development environments. Forward Deployed Engineers also contribute to architecture decisions, perform code reviews, and document solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science with understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, including experience with modern languages and frameworks.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs and integrating with databases.
Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them to real-world systems.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud or containerized environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
