Broad outline of the Role:-
Responsible for managing the projects starting from initiation till closure. This is a project management role that needs strong interpersonal skills to drive and manage the project efficiently meeting the committed baselines.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:-
Technical/ Engineering degree with 4-10 years of experience
Other Knowledge & Skills:-
Expertise on various telecommunication equipment
Good Knowledge in various products offered by service provider.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage, support, maintain and control the build of the global network site infrastructure and projects within the assigned geography.
Produce regular accurate and truthful reporting updates on project progress for the project team, stakeholders, and business units, using bespoke templates for highlights, Issues & Risks Logs, Finance Records and Dashboards. Exception reports as required if tolerance levels are being exceeded. Produce Lessons Learned & Closure reports.
Resource Management – maintain relationship with project management team. Identify resources required by deployment team members. Discuss and agree roles & responsibility and rules of engagement.
Finance & Benefits Management - At all times seek to identify most efficient use of project funds while achieving a quality and timely delivery to plan. Accountable for managing, forecasting and reporting on all project related budget and expenditure, orchestrate CAPEX Purchase Orders.
Manage and control any changes to the project scope, including change management, using standard methods and processes. Maintaining a central log of all work undertaken by the regional deployment team, recording potential changes.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: -
High customer focused individual who is self-driven towards defined goals.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in telecommunications field or Network operations environment demonstrating a strong background in transmission and data platform builds; with a clear understanding of the technologies used.
Proven ability to investigate problem situations, consider key perspectives, analyse needs, evaluate options and define user requirements.
Good knowledge of generic technologies and Telecommunication equipment’s, with ability to assess and make decisions regarding steps required to deploy as per plan and when necessary, seek and implement alternative deployment methods to meet stringent deadlines and budgets.
Capable of working in virtual teams in cross cultural working environment and at times of heavier workload to drive solutions.
Strong team player with proven record of achieving goals set.
