Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Naihati. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best shots, and creating cohesive, engaging videos that align with project requirements and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include editing video content, applying color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics, and refining audio to deliver professional-quality outputs. The role involves collaborating with producers, videographers, and graphic designers, organizing project files and assets, and ensuring timely delivery of edits. The Video Editor will also contribute creative ideas, maintain consistency across projects, and adapt content for various platforms and formats.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for a range of content types (commercial, social, corporate, and promotional).
Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual style and maintain consistency across scenes.
Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual elements that support storytelling.
Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional creative teams.
Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and willingness to receive and apply feedback.
Relevant coursework, certification, or degree in film, media, or a related field is beneficial, as is prior studio or production experience.
