Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead Kasacore’s overall financial strategy and operations in a full-time, remote capacity. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning to support the brand’s growth across e-commerce channels. The CFO will manage the preparation and review of financial statements, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, advising senior leadership on investment and cost-optimization decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on pricing, inventory, and expansion strategies. The CFO will also build and guide the finance function, implement efficient financial systems, and provide clear, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong finance and financial planning skills, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial management.
Proficiency in financial statements and financial reporting, with the ability to oversee accurate preparation, analysis, and compliance.
Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce sectors.
Knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in internal controls and risk management.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment, partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA, CFA) are an advantage.
