Junior Designer - Lingerie and Nightwear

About the Role:
Shyaway is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our Design & Product Development team.
The role will focus on print development, colourways, trend research and design execution for our lingerie and nightwear collections. You will work closely with senior designers, product teams and vendors to translate creative concepts into commercially viable and production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop repeat prints, motifs, placement prints and colourways for lingerie and nightwear.
Research and analyse fashion, lingerie, print and colour trends.
Create seasonal mood boards, trend boards, colour stories and print directions.
Adapt artwork according to garment construction, scale, placement and production requirements.
Support the development of bras, panties, lingerie and nightwear collections.
Coordinate lab dips and print strike-offs, including colour matching, corrections and approvals.
Coordinate with vendors for artwork execution, sampling and corrections.
Maintain print libraries, artwork files, colour references and development trackers.
Support Senior Designers in new product development and design execution.
Work closely with Design, Product Development, Sourcing and other internal teams.
Ensure designs are trend-relevant, commercially viable and production-friendly.
Skills and Requirements:
1–3 years of relevant experience in Fashion, Apparel or Textile Design.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is mandatory.
Strong understanding of prints, motifs, colours and artwork development.
Good eye for colour, scale, proportion and print placement.
Basic understanding of fabrics, garment construction and printing techniques.
Knowledge of lab dips, strike-offs and colour matching is preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple designs and development timelines.
Strong attention to detail with a good balance of creativity and commercial thinking.
Preferred
Candidates with prior exposure to lingerie, intimate wear, nightwear, womenswear or fashion apparel will be preferred. Graduates from NIFT will be preferred
