Role Description The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing experimental and/or theoretical studies in nanobiotechnology and oncology related fields. Day-to-day tasks include conducting laboratory work, collecting and interpreting data, preparing manuscripts, contributing to grant proposals, and presenting research findings internally and at conferences. The role also involves mentoring students or junior researchers, participating in group meetings, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to advance ongoing projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi, requiring regular presence in the laboratory and active engagement with the research team.
Qualifications
Strong laboratory skills relevant to nanobio-oncology research, with demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Proven research experience, including experimental or theoretical work, publications, and familiarity with scientific methodology, drug development and critical analysis.
Solid grounding in physics or related disciplines, with the ability to apply physical principles to nanoscale and biological systems.
Competence in data analysis, including statistical methods, use of scientific software, and clear interpretation of quantitative results.
Experience or interest in teaching or mentoring, such as supervising students, leading tutorials, or contributing to academic training activities.
Doctoral degree (PhD) in physics, nanoscience, materials science, biophysics, or a closely related field.
Strong scientific writing and communication skills for publications, reports, and presentations.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage projects independently.
Familiarity with nanofabrication, microscopy, spectroscopy, or biomolecular techniques is an advantage.
Willingness to be based on-site in Kochi and engage fully with laboratory and team activities.
