Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Kanayannur. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. The role includes executing general automotive repairs, working on suspension systems, and ensuring all maintenance and repair work meets safety and quality standards. The technician will document work performed, maintain tools and equipment, and coordinate with service advisors or supervisors to provide clear updates and timelines for customers. The role also involves following workshop procedures, adhering to safety regulations, and supporting a clean, organized service environment.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair tasks.
Hands-on experience with Oil Changes and related periodic service activities.
Proficiency in Automotive Repair, including basic mechanical diagnostics and correction.
Knowledge of Suspension systems and ability to inspect, repair, or replace suspension components.
Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive engineering or vehicle mechanics.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical diagrams, and work orders.
Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work effectively in a workshop team.
Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic in a service center environment is preferred.
