We are expanding our delivery organization and pioneering AI-driven operations through our AgenticOps practice, building production-grade agentic AI solutions on top of the Splunk ecosystem.
About the Role
We're looking for a highly capable, full-time Project Manager based in the US to own the end-to-end delivery of security and observability projects for our direct enterprise customers and MSP partners. In this role, you will manage a portfolio spanning SIEM implementations and 24/7 managed services engagements.
Because you will be managing global teams working 24/7 (including India time zones), this role requires a proactive leader who can set clear communication cadences, bridge gaps when offshore teams aren't proactively updating clients, and comfortably handle demanding enterprise customers. While not frequent, stepping in to coordinate high-priority escalations during weekends is a requirement of the job.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the full project lifecycle for SIEM and security delivery engagements: kickoff, planning, execution, risk management, and closure.
Global Team Management: Coordinate and manage cross-functional, 24/7 managed services teams spanning across the globe (including onshore/offshore resources and IST time zones).
Customer Communication & Escalation Management: Serve as the primary delivery contact for highly demanding direct customers and MSP partners.
Proactive Cadence: Establish and run a weekly cadence for status calls, steering meetings, and executive readouts to proactively update customers, cover communication gaps, and aggressively reduce escalations.
Incident & Weekend Coordination: Act as the escalation point for critical issues. Be willing and available to jump in occasionally on weekends to coordinate with teams and update clients during major incidents.
Scope & Resource Management: Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across concurrent engagements. Identify and escalate risks, scope creep, and change orders early.
Delivery Operations: Track and manage work in Jira (or equivalent); maintain project plans, RAID logs, and delivery documentation. Own the Sales-to-Delivery handoff, validating SOWs and assumptions.
AI-Driven PM: Leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, agentic workflows) to accelerate status reporting, documentation, meeting summaries, and project analytics.
Pre-Sales & Process Improvement: Support pre-sales with level-of-effort estimates and timelines, and contribute to the continuous improvement of bitsIO's PM playbooks.
Required Qualifications
Location: Must be local to the USA.
Experience: 4+ years of project management experience delivering SIEM/security projects (Splunk SIEM or comparable platforms).
Services Background: Proven track record managing external, customer-facing engagements in a fast-paced professional services company, consulting firm, or MSP/MSSP (experience in an environment like bitsIO is a major plus).
Global Leadership: Experience managing distributed, 24/7 teams across global time zones (specifically overlapping with IST/India and US business hours).
Flexibility: Willingness to handle occasional weekend escalations to support demanding enterprise customers and 24/7 operations.
Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Jira and other project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday, MS Project, Smartsheet).
Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of security operations concepts (log ingestion, detection, incident response, compliance-driven deployments).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable presenting to director and VP-level customer stakeholders and navigating tense escalations.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification.
Agile/Scrum certification (CSM or PSM).
Experience working directly with or for an MSP/MSSP.
Exposure specifically to Splunk Enterprise Security, ITSI, or SOAR delivery.
Familiarity with agentic AI concepts (MCP, AI agents, LLM-powered workflows).
Experience managing distributed teams specifically across US, LATAM, and India time zones.
