Role Description The Com1 role is a full-time, on-site position based at Fortune Resort Kalimpong in Kalimpong. The individual in this role supports daily hotel operations, including assisting guests with check-in and check-out, responding to guest inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient service delivery. Responsibilities may include managing reservations, handling basic administrative tasks, maintaining records, and supporting front office or food and beverage operations as needed. The Com1 team member is expected to maintain a professional appearance, follow resort policies and procedures, and uphold high standards of guest service and hospitality. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required to meet operational needs.
Qualifications
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact politely and effectively with guests and colleagues.
Basic administrative and organizational skills, including handling documentation, records, and simple computer tasks.
Good communication skills in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage.
Ability to work in a team environment, coordinate with multiple departments, and follow instructions accurately.
Willingness to work on-site in Kalimpong, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
Previous experience in hospitality, front office, food and beverage, or related service roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
Professional, reliable, and punctual, with a positive attitude and commitment to maintaining guest satisfaction.
