Freelance E-commerce Marketing Specialist — UK Remote

ABOUT ALARA COSMETICS
We’re a growing UK e-commerce business specialising in Japanese skincare and haircare. We’re looking for an experienced freelance e-commerce marketer to create and manage campaigns that help grow our online sales.
THE ROLE
You’ll take responsibility for planning, creating, launching and managing our marketing campaigns day to day. This includes developing the advertising content and creative, implementing the strategy, testing new ideas and optimising performance.
What you’ll do:
• Plan, create, launch and manage campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• Create campaign content, advertising copy and creative assets.
• Test audiences, messaging and creative to improve campaign performance.
• Use Shopify and e-commerce data to improve customer acquisition and conversion.
• Track results and share clear updates on performance and next steps.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Hands-on experience creating and managing Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
• E-commerce marketing experience, with a focus on customer acquisition, conversion and online sales.
• The ability to create campaign content and manage delivery independently.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Marketing within the beauty, skincare or haircare industry.
• Experience working with Shopify.
OPPORTUNITY TO GROW WITH US
The role will initially be freelance. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to move into a part-time or full-time position employed directly by Alara Cosmetics as the business grows.
