Role Description The Senior Client Accountant (CMA) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and finance operations for assigned client portfolios. Day-to-day activities include maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking client payments, and ensuring timely reconciliations in line with internal policies and statutory requirements. The role involves regular customer follow-up for outstanding dues, responding to client queries, and providing clear financial statements and reports to internal stakeholders and clients. The Senior Client Accountant will use accounting software to process transactions, monitor cash flows, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. This position also contributes to process improvements, compliance initiatives, and coordination with cross-functional teams such as operations and customer support to ensure smooth client account management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and understanding of basic taxation and compliance.
Candidates should possess proficiency with Accounting Software and related tools used for invoicing, reporting, and data analysis.
Candidates should possess solid Invoicing and billing capabilities, with attention to accuracy, timeliness, and documentation.
Candidates should possess effective Customer Follow-Up skills to manage collections, resolve queries, and maintain professional client relationships.
Relevant professional qualifications such as CMA, CA Inter, MBA (Finance), or equivalent degree/certification are preferred.
Experience of 3–5 years (or more) in client accounting, corporate finance, or real estate/PropTech domains will be beneficial.
Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to interpret financial data and prepare clear reports are desirable.
