Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Delhi, India. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and translating client requirements into creative and functional interior solutions. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparing construction and detailed drawings, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and supporting material selection. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits, and ensuring design intent is maintained through execution. The Interior Designer will also assist with presentations, documentation, and maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional and visually compelling layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with structural and MEP teams.
Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for execution on site.
Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work with budgets and timelines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Prior experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interiors in India is an advantage.
