Role Description This is a full-time, on-site QA Tester role based in Bengaluru. The QA Tester will design, review, and execute test cases to validate the functionality, reliability, and usability of SkillCompliance’s web-based training platform and related systems. Responsibilities include performing manual testing, logging and tracking defects, verifying fixes, and supporting regression testing to maintain product quality. The role involves working closely with product managers, developers, and content teams to clarify requirements, identify potential issues early, and contribute to continuous improvement of the user experience. The QA Tester will also assist in documenting test results, suggesting process enhancements, and aligning testing efforts with quality assurance standards and project timelines.
Qualifications
Strong test execution skills, including planning, running, and documenting tests for web and mobile applications.
Analytical skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and diagnose issues effectively.
Experience in quality assurance practices, including defect management, regression testing, and adherence to QA processes.
Proficiency in manual testing techniques and the ability to create clear, comprehensive test cases.
Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar) and basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience testing e-learning platforms or SaaS products and exposure to basic automation concepts is an advantage.
