Accountant

Company Description CyMobility is a specialized automotive cybersecurity company that provides security engineering, penetration testing, and compliance services.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at CyMobility. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations. The role includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to track project costs, support client billing and collections, and assist in financial analysis related to cybersecurity services. Additional responsibilities may include supporting audits, improving financial workflows, and providing timely financial reports to management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications
No prior work experience required.
Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to support project-based and service-oriented financial planning.
Ability to work with accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, billing, and collections in a business or technology services environment.
Capability to use accounting and ERP/financial software and strong Excel skills for data analysis.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax basics, and compliance practices applicable to corporate finance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret financial data for decision support.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
