Role Description The Podcast Producer & Channel Growth Intern role is a full-time remote position. The intern will support end-to-end podcast production, including episode planning, guest coordination, recording support, and basic audio review. Day-to-day tasks include preparing episode outlines and questions, managing publishing schedules, uploading episodes to podcast platforms, and creating show notes and metadata. The role also involves driving channel growth by analyzing listener metrics, optimizing titles and descriptions, and supporting social media and newsletter promotion. The intern will collaborate closely with the host and any external partners to ensure consistent quality, brand alignment, and engagement with the audience, especially in the MEA region.
The Role
You will support three key areas:
1- Podcast Production
• Manage podcast recording sessions using Riverside
• Edit and produce full podcast episodes
• Create short-form clips, reels, and highlights from each episode
• Add captions, branding, intros, outros, and other production elements
• Prepare thumbnails, descriptions, titles, and supporting content
• Publish episodes and clips across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
• Repurpose podcast content into newsletters and written posts
• Maintain a consistent production and publishing schedule
2- Guest Management and Coordination
• Research and identify relevant potential guests
• Reach out to guests and manage invitations and follow-ups
• Coordinate recording dates and block calendars
• Confirm episode topics, formats, and discussion areas
• Prepare guest introductions and research briefs
• Communicate with guests before and after recording
• Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective and confirmed guests
3- Channel Management and Growth
• Manage the day-to-day activity of the podcast channels
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reactions
• Encourage audience engagement and community participation
• Track content performance and channel-growth metrics
• Recommend ideas to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth
• Identify relevant trends, topics, formats, and collaboration opportunities
• Help build and manage a consistent content calendar

Who We’re Looking For:
• Final-year university student or recent graduate with 0–2 years of experience
• Hands-on familiarity with Riverside is strongly preferred
• Basic video and audio editing experience
• Comfortable creating short-form content for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, or TikTok
• Strong written and spoken English
• Highly organized and comfortable coordinating schedules and communications
• Creative, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently
• Interested in podcasts, technology, artificial intelligence, business, or media
• Relevant fields of study may include journalism, media production, communications, digital marketing, film and video production, multimedia design, content creation, or related disciplines. However, practical ability, creativity, and reliability matter more than a specific degree.
• Experience with tools such as Riverside, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Descript, Canva, or similar platforms would be valuable.
