Role Description The Online AI & Essential Core Skills Instructor — Independent Contractor is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, the instructor designs and delivers engaging, learner-centered lessons in AI fundamentals, digital creation (such as apps and websites), creative thinking, writing, debate, and communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing curricula and learning materials, teaching live classes and workshops, guiding project-based learning, and providing constructive feedback to help learners build confidence and mastery. The instructor tailors instruction to different age groups and skill levels, monitors learner progress, and collaborates with ANAG staff to refine programs and ensure a high-quality learning experience. Administrative tasks such as scheduling sessions, documenting learner outcomes, and maintaining professional communication with learners and guardians are also part of the role.

As an approved instructor, you can:
Select the subjects and tools you are qualified to teach
Choose the learner ages and experience levels you serve
Set your availability and listed lesson rate
Teach remotely through live 1:1 sessions
Build your public instructor profile
Receive student ratings and feedback
Accept only the booking requests that fit your schedule
Instructors retain 75% of lesson revenue. AI Native Academy Global’s platform service fee is 25%. Eligible instructor earnings are paid weekly.
This is a flexible independent-contractor opportunity. Students, bookings, minimum hours and earnings are not guaranteed.
What we look for
Strong knowledge in at least one listed subject
Ability to explain ideas clearly and patiently
Relevant teaching, mentoring, coaching or project experience
Reliable communication and professional conduct
Comfort teaching learners from different backgrounds and ability levels
Commitment to responsible AI use, learner privacy and age-appropriate instruction
AI instructors should be prepared to share relevant projects, a portfolio or GitHub work when applicable. Teaching experience is valuable but not required for every subject if you can demonstrate strong expertise and communication ability.
Instructor review
Applicants complete an instructor application and capability review. Approved instructors must sign the instructor agreement and follow ANAG’s learner-safety and platform policies before their profiles are published.
