Role Description The BIM Modeler role at BIMCARE TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The BIM Modeler will develop and update BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems in line with project requirements and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating model information across disciplines, and ensuring models are accurate, clash-free, and compliant with specifications. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams, preparing views, sheets, and documentation from the models, and supporting design revisions and change management. The BIM Modeler is also expected to maintain model organization, apply company workflows, and contribute to quality and delivery timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and experience working with architectural models.
Candidates should possess capabilities as a Modeler, including 3D modeling, detailing, and documentation.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) modeling and coordination.
Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, and details.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit (or similar), and basic understanding of CAD tools.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Effective communication skills and the ability to manage time and priorities in a project-based environment.
