HR Executive/Manager – Jewellery Retail

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HR Executive/Manager role based in Mettur. The role involves managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance and leave management, and employee documentation. The HR Executive/Manager will handle employee relations, address workplace issues, and support a positive and inclusive work culture. Responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, coordinating performance evaluations, organizing training and development activities, and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational guidelines. The role also requires close collaboration with store management to support workforce planning, staff scheduling, and overall retail operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, including planning, organizing, and overseeing HR functions.
Candidates should possess HR Operations skills, such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR administration.
Candidates should possess Employee Relations skills, including conflict resolution, counseling, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Candidates should possess HR Policies skills, including drafting, implementing, and updating policies in line with legal and organizational requirements.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience (2 - 5 years) in Jewellery retail or Jewellery industry HR is Mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in basic HR software or MS Office, and the ability to work on-site in Mettur.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism, and to support diversity and non-discriminatory practices.
Proficiency in spoken and written Tamil is required
Must be willing to relocated to Mettur, Salem District, Tamil Nadu, for this on-site role
