Junior Medical Technician

Better Works HR is looking for a full-time, on-site Medical Technician role is based in Navi Mumbai and supports daily clinical and laboratory operations. The Medical Technician will perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests, prepare and process specimens, and ensure accurate documentation of results. The role includes assisting with patient care procedures, coordinating with physicians and nurses, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Medical Technician will follow established protocols, support infection control practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and patient services.
The ideal candidate should be responsible for regularly meeting with customers to establish rapport, promptly attending to customer service requests, performing IQ/OQ documentation and validation, conducting product demonstrations, installations, servicing, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), and addressing breakdowns. They are also responsible for exceeding the expected service revenue target and ensuring margin/profitability, as well as providing timely reporting and documentation. Additionally, the candidate should aim to strengthen their product, applications, and support knowledge. The main goal is facilitating repair/ Installation, maintenance of equipment used in laboratories & research facilities to support the accurate & consistent performance of instruments
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine, with the ability to perform and interpret routine diagnostic procedures.
Proficient Laboratory Skills, including specimen collection, preparation, handling, and use of laboratory instruments.
Competence in Patient Care and Medicine fundamentals, with a focus on safety, comfort, and clear communication.
Relevant diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related healthcare field; valid registration or certification as required by local regulations.
Knowledge of quality control, infection prevention, and laboratory safety standards.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to evolving clinical and technological practices.
