We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer with expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP or cloud data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both traditional data integration tools (e. g., ). g., Informatica, Talend, and modern tools (e. g., Fivetran, Matillion, DBT), as well as programming proficiency in languages such as Python, PySpark, and Scala
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing robust data pipelines and integrations, ensuring the seamless flow of data across platforms. You will also be expected to implement CI/CD best practices, work with DataOps tools, and utilise data test automation tools to ensure data quality and integrity.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations across cloud platforms.
Work with both traditional and modern data integration tools for efficient data handling.
Apply programming knowledge in Python, PySpark, or Scala to automate and optimise data processes.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DataOps practices for data delivery.
Utilise data test automation tools to maintain data quality and reliability.
Requirements:
Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks.
Experience with integration tools like Informatica, Talend, Fivetran, Matillion, Qlik Data Integration, or dbt.
Experience with data replication tools like Qlik Replicate, Oracle GoldenGate, HVR
Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and Scala.
Experience with CI/CD practices, DataOps, and data test automation.
Cloud or data platform certifications are a plus.
