Role Description The Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bawal, responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities for electrical and mechanical equipment. This role includes planning and allocating work to maintenance technicians, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Supervisor will diagnose issues, coordinate repairs, and implement troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime and enhance safety. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining maintenance records, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures, and collaborating with operations and production teams to prioritize work orders. The role requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor, guiding the team, verifying quality of repairs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills to ensure reliable and efficient operation of machinery.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues and carry out effective corrective actions.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical field) are preferred.
Experience in industrial or plant maintenance, familiarity with safety standards, and ability to read technical drawings or manuals are beneficial.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are important.
Knowledge of maintenance documentation, basic computer skills, and exposure to maintenance management systems are an advantage.
