Role Description This full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role is based in Ahmedabad and involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize machinery and conveying systems. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing mechanical designs, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and supporting prototype development and testing. The role includes collaborating with production and installation teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet performance and safety standards. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to research and development initiatives, assist in project planning and documentation, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support continuous improvement of existing equipment and processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals with practical experience in industrial machinery or equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and analysis to develop reliable, efficient, and safe conveying systems.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailed drafting, and design revisions.
Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities to plan tasks, coordinate with teams, and meet project timelines and quality standards.
Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) skills to evaluate new technologies, improve existing products, and support innovation.
Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and basic electrical or automation interfaces.
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred, along with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
