Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and core optimization engines that power automated backtesting and parameter scanning. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, optimizing performance, writing clean and testable code, and integrating with TradingView and Pine Script workflows. The role also involves collaborating with product and engineering teammates to refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and scalability. The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help evolve the overall architecture of the platform.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Practical experience in Software Development and Programming, delivering production-quality applications or services.
Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying OOP concepts to design maintainable, modular systems.
Experience with at least one modern programming language commonly used for backend development (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, Java, or similar).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD practices, and version control systems such as Git.
Ability to analyze performance, optimize computational workloads, and work with quantitative or data-intensive applications.
Clear communication skills, collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Interest or experience in trading, quantitative finance, or TradingView/Pine Script is a plus.
