Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Hatkanangale. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. Day-to-day tasks include handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, tracking expenses, and ensuring timely payments and collections. The role involves preparing periodic financial statements, assisting with budgeting, and supporting audits and statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, and other relevant tax filings. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management to provide financial data, generate reports, and support decision-making while adhering to internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger management, including trial balance and reconciliation.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis for manufacturing or FMCG/distillery operations is preferred.
Familiarity with tax and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, income tax, and local regulations) and support for audits.
Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with finance, operations, and management teams on-site.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distillery environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
