Head of International Sales (ASEAN Countries )

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for heading International Sales (ASEAN Countries). The role involves leading and growing sales across ASEAN markets, including developing and executing regional sales strategies, setting targets, and managing distributor and dealer relationships. He will conduct market analysis, identify new business opportunities, and support pricing, product positioning, and promotional activities for tractors, power tillers, and related equipment. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams for demand planning and logistics, ensuring high levels of customer service, and providing regular performance reports and forecasts to leadership. The role also includes mentoring and training sales teams, representing the company at regional trade shows and customer meetings, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies in ASEAN markets.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, sales performance metrics, and competitive intelligence.
Proven team management skills, including mentoring, performance oversight, and cross-functional coordination.
Excellent customer service orientation, with experience managing key accounts and distributor relationships in international markets.
Effective communication skills, including clear business writing, presentation abilities, and stakeholder management across cultures.
Experience in training sales teams and channel partners on products, sales processes, and market strategies.
Significant experience in international sales, preferably in agricultural machinery, farm equipment, or related industrial products.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets in ASEAN or comparable export markets, with familiarity in local business practices.
Ability to travel across ASEAN countries as required
