About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Business Partner (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at JOTEC GmbH. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, supporting leadership and employees across various functions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to management, providing expert guidance on a wide range of HR topics including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development. Your role will involve close collaboration with international HR teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with German employment laws and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Qualifications
Completed university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; alternatively, a commercial qualification with relevant additional certifications.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in HR, ideally in a similar Business Partner role within an international or manufacturing environment.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate organizational needs into effective HR solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in handling stakeholder relationships at various levels, including senior management, in an international context.
Ability to manage complex conversations, conflicts, and negotiations with a solutions-oriented approach.
Structured, independent, and reliable working style with excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, with experience working in multicultural teams and global HR functions.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive HR consulting and support to managers and employees in assigned business units, covering personnel and employment law matters.
Collaborate closely with company leadership to understand strategic and operational goals and translate them into effective HR initiatives.
Advise on performance management, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, compensation, employee development, and labor relations.
Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, change management, leadership development, and workforce planning.
Support managers in compensation and HR decision-making processes, ensuring consistent and fair application of policies, salary reviews, promotions, and bonus programs.
Manage complex employee relations issues, providing pragmatic and sustainable solutions in alignment with legal and internal standards.
Ensure compliance with German labor laws and internal HR policies, supporting audits and maintaining data accuracy.
Build and maintain a trusting partnership with the works council, fostering open and constructive communication.
Coordinate with international HR colleagues and global centers to implement company-wide programs, utilizing English as the primary communication language.
Gather insights from business units to inform continuous improvement of HR processes and initiatives, contributing to organizational development.
