Role Description As a Hardware Design Engineer Intern at Boronify, you will design, develop, and validate digital and/or analog hardware components that support the platform’s capabilities. You will create and refine hardware architectures, perform detailed circuit design, run simulations, and collaborate with software and AI teams to ensure seamless integration with Boronify’s learning and automation tools. Daily responsibilities include reviewing specifications, producing design documentation, participating in design reviews, and supporting troubleshooting and optimization across the hardware design flow. This role requires effective communication, self-direction, and collaboration across distributed teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in Hardware Development and Hardware Design, including end-to-end design, validation, and optimization.
Hands-on experience in Electronics Hardware Design and Circuit Design, including simulation, analysis, and practical implementation.
Ability to define and refine Hardware Architecture, translating requirements and specifications into robust, scalable designs.
Solid understanding of digital and/or analog electronics, embedded systems, and relevant industry standards.
Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Open-source toolchain etc) and hardware simulation environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and design quality.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Familiarity with microcontrollers, RTL design, verification, or FPGA/ASIC workflows is a plus.
