Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical and Instrumentation Manager based at DPIPL’s Hyderabad facility. The role involves overseeing electrical and instrumentation systems across the plant, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of machinery and equipment. The manager will lead a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians, ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards, and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime. The position includes planning and executing electrical and instrumentation projects, managing budgets and timelines, and collaborating with production, quality, and engineering teams to support operational efficiency and process improvements. The manager will also maintain documentation, supervise inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Electrical Engineering skills, including design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems.
Candidates should possess solid Instrumentation skills, with experience in process control instruments, automation systems, sensors, PLCs, and calibration practices.
Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, performance monitoring, and training of technical staff.
Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Control skills for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and controlling electrical and instrumentation projects.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing or packaging industries, preferably with automated production lines and advanced machinery.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices for electrical and instrumentation systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
