Skilled CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist / Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) Operator
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong experience in vertical turning lathes (VTL / vertical carousel lathes) for industrial production in Finland.
The position involves machining large and heavy components, so we are looking for someone who is confident working independently, understands machining processes well and has solid experience with CNC programming directly from the machine control panel.
Requirements:
Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
Strong experience with vertical turning lathes (VTL / carousel lathes)
Ability to program directly on the CNC control panel
Experience with Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls
Very good knowledge of cutting tools, tool selection and machining parameters
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Experience machining large and heavy components
Ability to safely operate an overhead crane for handling heavy workpieces
Ability to work independently and accurately
Valid CV with detailed work history
Professional references from previous employers
Previous experience in heavy metal, engineering or large-component machining is highly valued.
